AIHLI LEGACY

AIHLI is the ululation sound you would hear at celebrations of most Africans. It intends to express joy or happiness, and it is mostly led by elderly women in the family to showcase their joy and in some unique cultures it is expressed by men as well. 

 

Secondary, to this expression it is a battle cry to declare the beginning of a battle, conflict or to lead full charge ahead into the battlefield. And, in the end of overcoming such a fate it is expressed as a victory cry.

 

What does this ululation mean to us? 

 

It serves as both our battle and victory cry. Because our intention is to lead conversations of importance,

Our offered Leadership and Mentorship Programs prioritizes developing the skills and knowledge of community leaders, activists, journalist and scholars that become frontline leaders of transformational changes in their communities.

 

Encountered advocates deal with community-based governance strategies that addresses their fundamental needs for intervention.  These creating leaders that are well equipped and impactful decision makers.
